Custom Stained/Burned Mousepad Design

This is a tutorial of how to design a mousepad to have a burned/stained looking design on it.

Step 1: Materials

You will need:
-Plain Mouse Pad (Peeling off the previous design of an old pad works too)

-White Out or White Paint (I prefer white out as it is quick drying)

-Printer (Does not need to be color)

*Recommended*

-Scraping tool

-Razor Blade

Step 2: Getting the Design

Print off of the internet a design that you will appear on the mousepad. Cut the design (Its easiest with some sort of blade) out but leave the outside in tact, as that's what will form the design. I chose the Corsair Gaming logo to match my Corsair Mouse (http://www.corsair.com)

Step 3: Applying the Design

Tape the cut out outline to the Mousepad and make sure it wont move. Then apply the white-out/paint to the cut out design. Careful, you don't want white-out to go under the outline.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Peel off the outline carefully, and let the design sit for ~30 seconds. Scrape off any unwanted white out.

Step 5: Your Done!

You've completed your custom Mousepad! As you can see, I rushed mine and it doesn't look quite like the Corsair logo, but I like it.
