Haven't uploaded something in a long time, this is something that will be part of a bigger project:
And my first project made on lathe machine, this is my "future weapon" for hand-to-hand combat. It can extend itself by 30cm or 15 inch when activated, while doing that it will flash the lights in the direction it is moving,

The hole thing is mainly controlled by a Arduino Nano and a L16 Firgelli lineair actuator, the power source are 12 penlites which let it run for serval hours. (it can run on 6 but only for 50% of the time of course...)
It was made by Gardena garden tools and some alu-tube, plastics, and wire...

The activation happens with a magnetic switch and a little magnet in the owners hand, no buttons or way to let it be activated by the enemy... For action and close ups, please see the youtube link:

unless of course the evil enemy happens to have a magnet ;-)

i'd like to see the video of it in action. but the youtube video is marked as private.
