This is a fun and useful weekend project that you can do with your kids or friends!

Step 1: Get an Ugly Bike.

Step 2: Remove the Rear Wheel.

Step 3: Remove the Fork.

Step 4: Prep Fork.

Step 5: Paint the Fork, Frame, and Chain Guard.

Step 6: Put Everything Back Together.

Step 7: DONE!!!

<p>I used Rust-Oleum American Accents Ultra Cover for the main frame.</p><p>I used Rust-Oleum Black Satin for the stripes on the chainguard.</p>
<p>Love it- totally clear and simple Instructable and the bike looks great, but I think you need a varnish to protect it from scratching, what do you think? How does it withstand knocks?</p>
<p>The paint does well. I will varnish it though. Rust-Oleum sells a clear protective enamel. Do you think it would work?.</p>
