Perfectly sound glass windows and doors are thrown out or burned every day. This is to share how I designed and  built our large glass greenhouse and to introduce some of the other projects we have coming up using this great resource. There will be extra details in my forthcoming blog on this project, as at the time we didn't have a digital camera with which to show every stage. I will post the link when I have written it, or if you like you can sub to my blog http://thegreenlever.blogspot.com and get regular updates. All the best, Andy.

Kudos in your quest of reusing materials! I loved to hear the sounds of your farm which reminded me of my days of a newlywed in my in-laws property. Keep up the the great concept of permaculture alive! Great work!
Hi there! Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate the feedback. That's one of the Polish cockerels crowing in the film - We have a pair of chamois brothers, they actually stand on top of the compost bins and salute all 4 corners of the compass! Recuperating glass is really fun, you can build no end off things, we also glazed our whole house, which was built in the 18th century when farmhouses didn't run to glass. If you want to see some pictures, I just put up the first part of my greenhouse blog on http://thegreenlever.blogspot.fr and put some photos of how we'd used recuperated windows and doors in our sitting room and kitchen. Have a great weekend! All the best, Andy
