You will need
-1 giant (4.4oz) milk chocolate Hershey's candy bar
-Powdered (confectioners') sugar
-Red gel food coloring/icing color (or color of your choice)
-Festive sprinkles, crushed candy cane, etc.
-Chocolate chips, melted
-Marshmallows, for standing place settings (optional)
To tint powdered sugar, simply add a tiny bit of food coloring to a small bowl of powdered sugar and mix together, adding more coloring, until you have reached your desired shade. A little powdered sugar goes a long way (about 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar per giant 4.4oz. bar). I used my fingers to coat the powdered sugar in the coloring (you might want to wear a glove so the food coloring doesn't stain your fingers).
Once you have reached your desired color, sift the powdered sugar to remove any clumps, so it is back to its normal powdery consistency.
