Introduction: DIY LED Fading
Hellow everyone today's instructable is about the fading of an led ie How an LED fade up and down
ITS JUST A 2 STEP INSTRUCTABLE HARDLY TAKES YOUR 5 MINUTES......
Actually in order to blink an led in a regulr manner we need a pulse with specific tuned frequency
like if the frequency is high is blink faster and if frequency is low its blink slower
So use a 555 timer ic to generate the pulse at outout and an NPN transistor also used to drive and led because the output voltage is so small it cannot drive the LED so in oder to amplify we use an NPN transistor you can use any NPN exp (2N3904 , 2N2222 etc )
A 555 timer also allow you to set the frequency with the help of resistors and capacitor but here it is tuned at the specific value...........
ALL THE DETAILS ARE ALSO GIVEN IN THE SHORT VIDEO CLIP
STEP BY STEP COMPLETE GUIDE......
Step 1: Hardware Required
All these electronic component are very cheap and easily available at any electronic store....
Step 2: Breadboard Connetcions
Make the breadboard connections as shown in the circuit diagram
Place an IC first then all jumper wires at last all the components ....
Step 3: Working
You can check out the working of this circuit in the video link ...
You can try some different valued capacitors for adjustment of delays of ON and OFF
We have a be nice policy.
