Every home needs a clock. What a better way to embrace time than with a beautiful and simple clock! You won't believe how easy this is to make and the materials are easy to find and cheap. Beautify your home with this minimalist wall clock.

Step 1: Materials

2 embroidery rings (mine were 9 and 12 inches of diameter)

Craft sticks

White glue

Clothes tweezers

Sandpaper or sander

Hacksaw

Black spray paint

Ruler and carpenter's square

Clock mechanism

Pencil

Step 2: Fill in and Sand

Use the white glue to fill in the spaces between the two rings of each embroidery ring, you can use a brush or your finger. Hold it with the clothes tweezers and let it dry completely.

Sand the rings to make them have an even surface.

Step 3: Little Sticks

You'll need 8 smaller sticks, you can cut them with a hacksaw. Mine were 2" long.

Sand the sticks too.

Step 4: Clock Design

Draw on a paper or a table a line with your ruler and pencil. Use the carpenter's square to make a perpendicular line. This will mark the hours 12, 3, 6 and 9.

Divide each section in three to get the other lines for the hours 1, 2, 4, 5 and so on.

Step 5: Glue

Place your embroidery rings in the table on top of your design. Be sure there's the same distance between them all around the rings.

Put glue in the large sticks and place them in the hours 12, 3, 6 and 9.

Glue the little sticks in the rest of the hours.

Let it dry for an hour approximately.

Step 6: Paint

Use your black spray paint to paint all over your clock, from the front and back. If necessary give it another layer of paint. Let it dry.

Step 7: Hang

Put a nail in the wall where you want your clock to be. Place your clock with the hour 12 right on top of the nail. Put some double sided tape in your clock mechanism and glue it to the wall.
