Tweezer probes are a useful addition to your multimeter, especially for testing surface mount components.

Parts list:
Sugru (a sample pack will do)
Stainless steel tweezers
Wire
Banana plugs (optional)

Step 1: Break Tweezers

Your first objective is to cleanly break the tweezers.  This may be easier said than done.  You can try brute force, but a cutting tool of some sort may be a better idea.

Step 2: Drill Holes in Tweezers

Now that the tweezer is in two pieces, you need a way to attach wires to it.  One way to accomplish this is to drill holes in the ends of te tweezer pieces.  Using a drill press is recommended.

Step 3: Attach Wires to Tweezers

Attach a wire to each of the tweezer pieces, threading a bare end of wire through the holes.  Cut wire to desired length.  If you would like to be able to plug your new tool directly in to a multimeter, you can add the appropriate plugs to the other end of the wires.

Step 4: Apply Sugru

Now it's time for Sugru!  Flatten the Sugru out to a rectangular shape, lay the wired ends of the tweezers on it, and fold the Sugru over to enclose the connections.  Mold the Sugru into the desired shape, ensuring that there is enough space between the tweezer pieces and wires to prevent a short under the Sugru.  Also pay attention to the tips of the tweezer to make sure that when they are used the tips touch evenly.  To hold the tweezer probe while the Sugru cures, try poking the tips of the tweezer into the bottom of a styrofoam cup placed upside down.

Now, put your new DIY tweezer probe to work on some circuits!
Great idea! Putting some red heat shrink on the positive tweezer and black heat shrink on the negative tweezer would make getting the right polarity a snap!
