Step 23 Cleaning the Projector

 
After some time using the projector you may see that there is small marks or dust on the projected image. That is normal, the LCD could get some dust or something that needs to be cleaned from time to time (not very often though)

First take the lid off your projector. Here is a video of how to do it if you have a enclosure like mine.




To clean the projector you could use a blower cleaner. I use this blower that is to clean my camera. It only takes a minute.

Wow,you're do a great job man well done ! i'll make the same projector.. i use 7'' DVD player,i don't know what kind of light i should use,cuz i don't has like yours LED light.And one problem, i don't has fresnel lens :D .. i buy the objective , dvd and i'll buy 55w bulb with white light, that is for me!

Amgo'm from Brazil and my name and RUY, its design and incredible, I'm trying to make one, using an LCD the same as you used in your project but this LCD has a contrast auto eesti finding the projection too dark, you also had this
problem?

Mine is not too dark, But you could adjust the input signal to get it brighter.  If you use a DVD to play videos you could probably set the bright and contrast on the DVD setings.

mister i have a 3.5" lcd but i don't know how to power it.. i don't know what power supply im gonna use.. can i connect the lcd, light and fan in 1 switch? can you please help me coz i dont quite get the diagram.. can you make it simple please.. i really wanna make one for my dad as a gift :-) thank you so much!!

what if you run the power supply to your car? i have seen people hook up projectors to their cars, and make a drive-in movie
