Step 2: Making the Wings

I used two different colors for the wings ( upper and lower ). Cut any one of the craft papers for the upper part of the wing as shown in the second picture of this step. Make small even folds on the paper horizontally. Similarly, cut and fold another craft paper for the lower part of the wing, but this time use a different color and make sure that the lower part of the wing is slightly smaller than the upper part.

Love your instructable. I have made these a long time ago out of advertising pages in magazines. Makes them very colorful as well. Seeing yours, I will have to make some more. I love butterflies. Thanks for the inspiration.

I made mine in pastel colours glued little magnets on the back and now they are on the fridge kids live them

Where do u get double sided tape????
you'll find the double sided tapes in office supply stores, arts and crafts stores (I'm quite sure).
It is indeed one of the best collection of paper buttery stickers with few carrying smiley faces. I am really inspired to try this at home and put it at by wardrobe to add new beauty over it. Thanks for giving me this idea.

http://www.alacraft.com.au/stickers-cat8
