Introduction: DIY Photo Collage Accessories Organizer/Tray for Father's Day

About: I'm a 5 year old girl who loves to DIY! My idol is Alton Brown and I want to be just like him! I started my own channel to share my crafts and treats with everyone so I hope you guys like it! I've been really…

This DIY Accessories Organizer is the perfect gift for your daddy on Father's Day! It's a really cool and easy photo collage organizer tray that he can use to put his keys, wallet, phone, or anything he wants in it! I am sure your dad will love this DIY wallet and key tray! Use a super cool paint that you think he will love. I used a paint that changes colors when you move it and it also has gold sparkles in it!

For the step-by-step instructions, please continue reading!

Step 1: Materials

You will need:

  • wooden tray
  • lots of photos cut out
  • a super cool paint
    • pick something your dad/grandpa/godfather might like
    • I was thinking of a suede textured paint until I saw this cool color changing one
  • Mod Podge
  • paint brushes

Step 2: Paint the Whole Tray!

Paint the tray using your cool paint. Let it dry. You might need to paint on a second coat if your paint is thin. Be sure to let the paint fully dry.

Step 3: Arrange, Stick, and Seal

Take your photos and arrange them on your tray until you like the way it looks. Then use the Mod Podge to place the photos in place. Once all the photos are on, paint another layer of Mod Podge all over the tray and on top of the pictures. Let this dry.

Step 4: Time to Wrap It Up!

That's it! You're done! Isn't it so cool? I think whoever you give this to will super duper love it! They can use it to put whatever they want in it. My dad likes to put his keys, wallet, and phone in the tray when he gets home from work.

Hope you guys like this quick, but cool craft!
