I wanted to build a RC crawler with individual wheel drive. I have used 360°servos.

Step 1: Mount Servo on Wheel

  • I ve used 2.2 crawler wheels
  • I mounted the servo on the wheel using the servo disk
  • steering is a bit difficult as I didn't use precise digital servos, so the speed is different for each wheel

<p>I'd like to do this, but control both left side servos together and both right side servos together. With left and right side servos going opposite directions the potential for on the spot burnouts is immense. Code anyone?</p>
