In this instructable, i will teach you how to make a very effective tazer out of a bug zapper .

WARNING!

Do not use this on anyone with a weak heart or pacemaker!

Step 1: Step 1: What You Need

You will need:
A bug zapper
A 9 volt battery clip
A soldering iron
Solder
9 volt battery
1 Blue led ( or any other color )
1 100 ohm resistor
1 220 ohm resistor
Hot glue gun and glue
Wire cutters/ strippers
Wire
Screwdriver
Wall adaptor ( see image )

Step 2: Step 2: Start

Start by unscrewing the screws holding the handle together, make sure to keep these.

Step 3: Step 3: Remove the Zapper

Now cut the wires going to the red section, make sure to kep some length.

Step 4: Step 4: Take Apart the Adaptor

Now unscrew any screws from the adaptor, pry it open and remove the metal. Now cut excess metal, keeping the prongs. ( second picture )

Step 5: Step 5: Solder

Now solder the prongs to the wires.

Step 6: Step 6: Cut and Solder.

Now remove the old battery connections. Cut the mounting for batteries, and cut the Springs from the wires. Now solder the 9 volt adaptor. Negative to the board, and positive to the switch.
