DIY Tech Repairs: The Towel Method - "Fixing" the Red Ring of Death

video DIY Tech Repairs: The Towel Method - "Fixing" the Red Ring of Death
This video was made detailing the (surprising) success of what is commonly known as "the towel method".

The Xbox 360 that was used had been taken apart several times and was all but given up on (it's owner actually purchased a new console) - we were very surprised to see that this method worked.

I'd advise using "the towel method" not for sustained gaming, but as a way to quickly copy saved files from the system to an external hd (the new Xbox console doesn't use the same hd as the old ones - making it rather annoying to recover saved data)
