Hello again!
Working late night with dingy dim Laptop lights is not the best idea for your eyes.
Here we shall Take a normal Ebay LED laptop Keyboard light, and Modify it for better colour (Neutral white) and Brightness.

In the first Picture, you can see our final Project. I am afraid that camera was not able to pick up the decent brightness of the LED. The keyboard is fully illuminated and about 5x improvement over stock LED is noticed.

Steps-
1) Disconnet your LED light
2) Pry out the lens to access the LED inside
3) Cut the LED wires and save it for later projects (Eg toys)
4)Buy  A 7.62mm Pirhana (4-pin super flux) or Similar SUPER Bright LED from your fav store
5) Calculate the new resistance value for your LED. Pirhanas are fine with upto 80mA of current. About 4 times as a normal LED
6) Solder and Re-fit
7)Plug in and Enjoy!
