Excellent idea. I have just found a use for an old digital camera I have had hanging around & another possible adaptation for you idea incorporating the cupboards above my packet handkerchief sized bench.

bah marlboro lights! those should be the reds way nicer in IMO nice trick though but instead of using the workmate table try buildin a base to hold the acrylice then having the legs set out far enough that on the widest angle they're just out of view, alloing for optimum photo-age....
