Introduction: DIY WEDDING Planner Book - Invitation - Favor Box - Shoes - Cake - Hairbump - Tips

Im getting Married this December and im making most of my wedding stuff myself, as im never satisfied with what the world has for me, Well the things i love are way too expensive so....Since Jan ive only been fishing for ideas on the Internet but ended up not finding what i want.... So i started thinking wild..... Here are some of my DIY and some great tips to go wild on ur wedding....

IM NOT GONNA BE REVEALING ALL OF MY EXACT DIYS UNTIL JANUARY 2011 CUS I WANT IT TO BE A SURPRISE........

Step 1:

1. PLANNER BOOK :

Every girl needs a Planner book, just to stick some pics of her favorite dress, veil, bouquet, write list of people, make rough budget and so on..... Here is what i did,

THINGS NEEDED : Note Book of your wish, Fur - can also use funky scrap like tinsels, color paper etc just have a good texture, when you touch it u should feel like your in control :), and Glue...

Paste the Fur over the book using hot glue, Set it to cool and start Picture planning you wedding

Im having a Garden of eden theme wedding, 7 bridesmaid and 8 flower girls WOW uh... :) so you can see my bridesmaid dress pattern sketched and pieces of the material pasted against the dress.. And also the flower girls dress pattern and the bow color for each girl...
And im also making wings for the flower girls with wire, panyhose and lots of glitter :)

Step 2:

2. WEDDING  INVITE :

I just got too tired of foldables, layers and envelopes arrg....... So i decided to go Cool and Elegant... Im sorry i cant show you the exact invites i made cus  of the  Surprise, I will surely upload em after my wedding = )

THINGS NEEDED : Best Quality A4 plain paper - Im using Colorful scented textured A4 paper, Designed Glass paper and Ribbon - In my actual Invite im make tiny Rose favors to stick on them..

Have your fancy paper printed with the invite wordings of your choice.
Do not forget to have a small printing of your names on the other side right corner of the paper - you will know exactly where to print that if you try to roll a paper..
Tuck the glass paper right before you finish the scrolling as on the pic.
Now Complete by Putting a bow or any style of tying the Satin Ribbon..
Add embellishments of your choice or that goes with your wedding theme.
THERE YOU HAVE YOUR INVITE, COOL - ELEGANT - COST EFFECTIVE = )

Step 3:

3. FAVOR BOX :

I Haven't decided what im giving as a favor but im sure its something that fits into this box.

THINGS NEEDED : Best Quality A4 printed paper - Im using Colorful scented textured A4 paper for my actual one . Thats pretty much it, wow na

Make a Origami Polygon box, there are many ways to achieve that, The one i did is as on the pics  =P  If you dont understand what ive done, pls look Ref Instuctables, there are many who made them..

Print out a Sticker to go on top of the box, and also a Thank you card...
I actually made our thank you cards using small flash cards and created my own sugru seal stamp that says Thank you and  some stuff =) Secret...  Tie the  thank you card to the favor box through some ribbon or tinsels

Step 4:

4. BRIDAL SNEAKERS

First they are gonna be hidden by my huge huge dress and they are super comfortable...
And they could be really beautifull, depending on how you make them..

THINGS NEEDED: Your favorite paid\r of sneakers - My suggestion if you need  to look tall - Try Shape ups by sketchers \, they are super confy and makes you look tall..
Beads, Sequence, More beads, Pearls, More Pearls =) A piece of your wedding dress -Im making my Dress and the lace i picked for it has flowers popping out from it, i cut 4 flowers around the edge before i started making my dress to put them on my shoes... Non messy Glue... AND YOUR IMAGINATION, GO WILD

Step 5:

5. HAIR BUMPIT :

I Love bumpits and they effect they give, The first pic is me on the day of my engagement party, i did curls and slipped the bumpit under for the bump effect.
I understand Bumpits are expensive and dont come in your hair color.
By making your own bumpit, you save money and make a custom made bumpit that fulfills your need of height and grip for the bumpit.. =)

THINGS NEEDED: Head band, Thick fabric thats in the color of your hair and same color thread...

Just wrap it around the band creating your perfect bumpit and tie em with the thread. Slip it on under a layer of hair by the crown of your head or where ever you may like... and make the hairstyleof your choice.

Step 6:

6. WEDDING CAKE + TONS OF CUPCAKE:

This is just something anyone could do or even buy and save a LOTS of money..
One can either get a regular chocolate fudge cake and lotsof cupcakes and arrange them according to ones creative imagination and decorate them

THINGS NEEDED: 1 Regular Cake. Many cup cakes according to the need..

First sketch out the arrangement and then just bake them yourself of buy them..

The one below is the chocolate cake i baked and the last pic is how im gonna arrange my wedding cake, Im gonna have our Names first letter put on each cupcake..

Step 7:

7. TIPS

Just some random tips, I sooooooo wanna upload my dress DIY and Veil, But im sorry i cant. So thats just a pic of me pickin the veil material and the dress's lace, The popped up flowers.. and i did not get the net with the hearts for my veil i just took it for fun.. lol

Since my wedding is during christmas im gonna go flashy, Lots of lights and i sketched the arrangement of lights by taking pics of every angle of the hall and then using a light pen to plan the allignments.. Im also gonna have lots of christmas tress all lighted up... So golights, its so much fun....

NOW JUST GO DIY BE MERRY AND BE MARRIED...
