Insert the rounded end of the bolt into the end of the conduit so that the end you machined sticks out about an inch. On the first bolt I used the head slid easily inside the conduit. On the second bolt, I had to grind the diameter of the head down almost an eighth of an inch before it would slide into the conduit . You can save some time by taking a piece of conduit with you to buy the bolts. You will have to grind five eighths bolts more than likely.

Holding the conduit and the inserted bolt upright now drip hot melt glue into the conduit until it fills the bottom third of the void between the conduit inner wall and the bolt. The head of the bolt will prevent glue from dripping further down than the head of the bolt into the conduit. Take caution not to drip any hot melt glue on your skin.

Allow the glue to cool while keeping the bolt centered. I used a one inch OD, half inch ID washer as a centering guide. Once this has set and cooled (20 or thirty minuts) fill another third of the void, let cool and then fill that last third. Two or three guns may help to get this job done faster. Be sure the end of the bolt is centered and be sure it is secured until the glue has cooled.
