First step as always when using any power tool - put on your eye protection.

This is done using a rotary tool with a cutoff wheel. The cutoff wheel is used to grind the top of the rivet head down without cutting into the caster fork. Once the head is ground down you can knock it out with a pointed object and hammer or pry it out. Be careful not to damage or bend the caster forks.
