Step 6 Assemble the quick connector

Insert the quick connector between the caster wheel forks and secure with the quarter inch hex head bolt. I used a lock down bolt normally found on bicycle seats rather than a hex head or carriage bolt. One neat feature is that when the bolt is locked down the forks compress and prevent the quick connector release mechanism from sliding.
