DIY homeade nerf airsoft gun

This DIY tells you how to make a airsoft gun out of a nerf gun, darts, tape, scissors, and airsoft BBs!! This is for you if you want to play airsoft but you only have nerf guns or if you want to make you freind a gun!!! This is a awesome mod that leaves bruises on you !!!!

***** I MADE THIS FOR MY 8YR OLD BRO! I MADE IT TO NOT SHOOT BBs EXTREMELY FAR !! I MADE IT TO SHOOT IN THE HOUSE SAFELY.... AND ITS ALSO LITTLE BRO SAFE CONSIDERING IT DONT HURT!! I USED THESE MATERIALS BECAUSE THESE ARE ALL I HAD (I DIDNT HAVE A BIC PEN OR ANY OTHER KIND OF PEN THAT A BB COULD FIT IN) !!!

Step 1: WHAT YOU NEED!

You will need a.....

- at least 1 NERF gun
- at least 1 NERF dart or stefans
- scissors
- tape
- Airsoft BBs

i have 2 questions:

1. Can i use a gun like the Nerf Recon CS-6?

I made one that shoots at about 450-550 FPS and I've never seen its max distance. But it can also shoot over 15 BB's in one shot at over 200 FPS.

you have to unscrew it.then you just look up : air restrictor removal on instructables/youtube. youll figure it out in notime

What do you think the velosity/speed (fps) might be on this??

pretty low, but if you remove the air restrictors it will work a little better, maybe like 150 fps max tho, if you use pens

i made one from the same gun but i opened it up and removed all the air restricters and stuff from the front replaced it all with some pvc pipe. i also put a pen tube inside the pipe so the barrel is directly connected to the air chamber. then i added a ton of rubber bands. mine shoots about 150 to 170 feet and goes about 325 fps.

My nerf airsoft gun hurts pretty bad if not modded but if it is modded, it hurts. take a look.

Ummmm........ yeah they dont make 4.5mm (.177 cal) plastic bb's. There metal and are for air rifles.

i built one but instead of using that nerf gun i used a nerf N-strike dart tag pistol and i can get it to leave welpts on my bros arm from 90-120ft with extreme accuracy =>

I made a airsoft gun out of my double shot shotugn from airblasters. It shoots pretty well and all you half to do is stick a straw a nerf inside the shell! i'll post instructions later

Just to add details... Before reading this I did this before...(this shows I have a brain)...so I am "experienced" You might want to be more "clear" about stuff like including that YOU NEED TO USE A RAMROD TO RAM THE BB IN ABOUT 1-1.2 INCHES!!!! THIS DRAMATICALLY(kinda) INCREASES RANGE!!!! Yeah, and I used .24 grams and they shoot far so .2 and .12 should shoot pretty far. You can just use .12 since you don't really need accuracy since it has pretty bad accuracy. And this is supposed to be a "helpful comment" by the way.

I was wondering how far these things shoot because when I made mine it didn't really shoot far, maybe like 2 feet...maybe it was the tape, or the bb's (.20g-.25g) or the nerf gun, or it was because the bullets were brand new (in your picture they were all squashed up) and that's probably why, because it compressed the air more? So if you have any of these answers please reply to me.
