Hello guys !.....

This instructable helps you to build your own motor pump....

this motor works on the principle of centrifugal force....

I have built a small motor pump using a small motor......u can build it by using a big motor too.....

Step 1: Parts Needed....

the most important thing is that you can use any plastic container....any motor...any thing....but it should fulfill the basic requirements of the pump motor.......

parts list.......

1. plastic container (should be in cylindrical shape.........)

2. glue (I used fevitite )

3. pen cap and refill...... (any)

4. plastic sheet (any)

5. motor (any)

thats all guys,..............!

Step 2: Drilling Holes

Take the container drill the holes on the top and bottom ends of the container as shown in the fig....

the hole on the top is used to attach the motor.......

the hole at the bottom end is used as a inlet for water flow.....

Step 3: Attaching Motor

the next step is to attach the motor to the lid of the plastic container as shown in the above image........

you can use any glue like hot gule, fevi quick,fevitite.....etc...

Step 4: Time to Make Fan

take the pen refill and cut a small portion as shown in the first image........

then cut two rectangular pieces of plastic sheet......as shown in pic 2...........

and attach these 3 materials to make the fan .....in such a way that the refill should be between the two rectangular pieces........as shown in the second pic......

you can use glue or you can screw them up......as I did.....

Step 5: Attach Fan to the Motor

as shown in the pic u should attach the fan like that........!

Step 6: Water Outlet

make the hole at the cylindrical side of the container in such a way that the fan should be seen through the hole.....

then attach the pen cap to the container as shown in the pic....using a glue.....!

that all......!

Step 7: Attach Both the Things

Just attach the container's lid to the container as shown above.....

ok

you have built a small pump motor.......!

just watch how its working....................!

you must remember that you need not to build a small motor pump as I did ...........you can use different materials...different techniques to make a new one...

................................. thank you.........................................
If u have any suggestions or comments regarding to this topic plz leave a comment below..... :-)

i made it but it don't pump the water out. please help me

can I see your project....!

can you send me photos of it..so that I can help you...!!!

goooood.

its a little problem with this small water pump that some times it does not work and i have to turn it off and make it empty of water and turn it on again!

i guess its because of my FAN !

can u please see my fan and check it for any problem or mistake?

thank you

that's very nice..... (I think you have build this pump motor....to use in the evap air cooler...!)

I think these are the problems....

solution 1:-

As shown in the pic ........you should dip the motor pump in the water.....upto the outlet pipe...!

solution 2:-

I think you have build your fan more heavy....becoze u have used nut and bolt (it creates a little bit wobbly...) and i think torque decreases...!

so just built the fan as i did

steps to build a fan:-

>take pen refill

>drill a small hole (at the sides)

>take two rectangular pieces of plastic (drill a small hole at the center)

>then screw them up....

>thats all...!

If you got any problem....just reply

I think this is also the solution.,.....

as shown in the pic the fan should be just opposite to the outlet pipe....

hi and thank you for useful notes.

yes i do have problems.

the fan is opposite to the outlet pipe but the pump is not working fine

i should help first move buy sucking water from outlet pipe.

after that pump work fine .

i glued a small pipe for its inlet but its not changed

realy good idea

really good idea! Youc could attach this to a hull and make a boat!!!

thanks....I'll try to build boat
Nice!
