Introduction: DIYish Wedding Custom Flower Girl Basket; Ceremony Decor

DIY Wedding FLower Girl Basket and Upcycled RIng Bearer Pillow Decor - Budget Wedding Overview:We wanted to have a nice wedding with 125-135 guests on a $14,000 max budget, so we had to plan and do most it ourselves. We had 8 months and 14000 budget and many projects. I will try to publish most of them. Note= Since we knew it was to be DIY as soon as I got word I started gathering embellishments like ribbons and garlands from thrift stores and using coupons from joans every week.

Step 1: Materials

Basic Craft Materials:Scissors, Tape, Adhesives E600 is what I use, hot glue Wire, spray adhesive, thread and needleFabric Materials to cover basket (check the bargain and scrap bins at local fabric and thrift stores) Embellishments:TIny flowers RIbbon We had a plain heart shaped pillow lying around you can work with a pillow from a discount store or thrift and cover it with material plain basket from thrift store or dollar store I went with thrift because it was better quality imo

Step 2: Prep Gather Spray

Gather materials Take basket and cut material enough to cover the outside and inside of basket. I used faux satin for outside and satin for inside. Cover handles of basket with masking tape.

Use spray adhesive or glue to cover bottom of basket leaving at least trim to overlap on inside of basket.

Remove tape from handle and cover with ribbon or other material. I used my two colors and twisted the ribbon around. Secure with glue or adhesive.

Step 3: Embellish and Detail

I added small flowers , ribbon and some glitter leaves to the side handle of the basket and the front of the pillow. I sewed the embellisments onto pillow.

Step 4: All Done

All done , Enjoy
