DSMAN1'S SHOTGUN/SNIPER

this gun truly is a step ahead of most knex gun on the site. with the abilty to be a sniper (long range combat) and a shotgun( for short range combat)you can take down almost any opponent( with the exception of the sr-v1 of corse!). the ammo i have right now is:

sniper round

shotgun round

and the immportant deer slug

the credit for the bipod for the sniper goes to KillerK(took it from his sr-v1)
credit for the handle and trigger system(though i moded it) goes to the_ burrto _master.

big edit!!!!!!:

i have changed the gun a lot. now trigger system that uses the hammer on the back to cock the gun. and a popout banneut(sorry about spelling)also i made it so the sides of the gun hold 6 deer slugs. aslo i put a grip on the gun and the trigger for the banneut is right by the grip. instructions are being made hurray!!


please note that the only reason my instructable is full copyright is because i dont want people to plagerise this instructable! feel free to make the gun! and a better but

Step 1: Barrel

this is the longest part. it also uses up most of the yellow connectors you need for the gun. so make this part first because if you cant make this then there is no reason to make the rest of the gun.

pic 1: make 17. make sure to make one like pic 2 and 3.

sorry i never told you sooner. i redid the entire gun here, but kept the barrel mostly the same. you should make that version since it has a better trigger and everything else and does not use any of the hinges.

Yeah, I already knew about how you re-made the gun, I just wanted to see if I could build this one. I've only got about 5 green rods left though so I'm probably going to make the other one. Thanks for telling me.

How many of the yellow pieces in step one do I actually make? For the description part you say to make 17, then on the image you say 20.

sorry about the confusion. you need to make 17 of the part as a whole, and 3 more of just the top of it(the part with the orange connector). you will notice that in the picture, there are three parts on the barrel with different bottoms.

How can a gun be a sniper and a shotgun just by different ammo. This thing doesn't even have a scope.

why does it need a scope? anyway, i meant that it fired like a shotgun as in it made a spread shot, and then like a sniper as in t fired one very accurate shot.

the thing is .............well............... sigh......... its nothing new to have the ability t fire like a sniper and a shot gun....... think about it....... one bullet for a sniper shot and 2 or more for a shot gun shot. almost every gun on this website can do this................. srry but really its not ahead technalogicaly of most existing guns.......................srry but thats the harsh, harsh truth that we must learn to live with.........................................

it is because the sniper bullet can shoot through carboard and the shotgun round can spray lots of ammo every were, no just in a straite line.

Cool gun, I made it and it is very powerful. I got it to pierce paper at 15 feet (which is very good compared to other guns I built, so no offense). I am going to base my shotgun and machine gun design on your barrel, so which shall I post first?

i would like to see the machine gun. also if you post them please give me credit for the barrel and please put a like to this gun. also keep on the look out for the rifle. it uses the barrel but has many many more features. also the trigger is really light on the new verson and the system is more relistic.

you could make this gun semi automatic if you put rubber bands on each green thing on the trigger i think but im not sure.

that would not make it semi-auto. even though it works, you still have to pull the hammer back and then the trigger.
