I made a Dalek cake for my son's 8th birthday. It is half cake (the base was baked in an oven-proof glass bowl) and half assembled goodies ranging from cupcake tops, Swiss Rolls, Moon Pies, Tootsie Rolls, malt balls and more, all held together with a homemade ganache.
