These mini pizzas are easy to prepare and they turn out quite good. This instructable will show you how to make these mini pizzas in few easy steps. I hope you enjoy making and serving them!
Step 1: Ingredients
To make mini pizzas you will need:
- All purpose flour - 2 cups,
- Yeast - 1 tea spoon,
- Oil - 1 table spoon,
- Tomato - 1 large or 2 medium,
- Salt - 2 teas spoons,
- Sugar- 1 teas spoon,
- Cheese - shredded, half cup,
- Onion - 1 large.
Step 2: Preparing the Dough
Mix 1 tsp of yeast in half cup of water and keep it a dry place for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, take a bowl and ad 1 cup of all purpose flour, 1 tbsp of oil and 1 tsp of salt. Mix them really well.
After 10 minutes add the yeast and water mixture to the flour and mix them nicely.
Start adding the rest of the flour (1 cup), mix them and knead really well to make a smooth dough.
Keep the dough in a warm place for at least 2 hours and wait till it doubles.
Step 3: Making Mini Pizza Base
After 2 hours knead the dough again for 2-3 minutes,
Divide the dough into 9-10 small portions and shape each portion into a ball,
Place a dough ball on a flat surface and press it with your fingers to flatten it. Similarly flatten the other dough balls.
Step 4: Preparing the Toppings
Cut onion and tomato into small pieces.
Take a saucepan and add chopped onion, tomato, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of sugar and 2 tbsp of water into the saucepan.
Cook the mixture in medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Stir frequently. You can add spice if you want to. After 10-15 minutes tomato puree will be ready.
Shred the cheese.
Toppings are ready.
Step 5: Finally!
Set the oven to 180o C (350o F).
Place the mini pizza bases on the baking tray. Use a spoon to apply the tomato puree and then shredded cheese on them.
Bake the pizzas for 10=15 minutes, until they turn light brown.
You can add more toppings if you want to. I chopped green chilli into small pieces and placed one on each mini pizza's center. They're delicious and great for parties!
