Easy to eat on the road very portable, reminds you of grandma's apple pie. Great for going on long trips or for serving as party snacks. They are perfect for people who love lots of pie crust. I hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as my family and i have.
Step 1: Making baking tin
I couldn't find a baking tin that was in the shape that i needed sp i went to Ralphs and bought two disposable mini muffin tins and muffin wraps whatever you call them. The first thing you do is push down the bridge between two of the muffin cups. Then smooth out the wrinkles in the bottom of the depression with whatever you have around, i used the handle of a steak knife i had lying around. Nest line them with the paper muffin wraps.
Step 2: Apples
Peel and core the fuji apples. Then slice them in quarters and then chop them into even smaller pieces around 1/4 inches.
Step 3: The Filling
4 Fuji Apples (chopped and peeled)
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup of granulated sugar
3/4 tbls. of cinnamon
2 tsp. of vanilla extract
1/2 tbls. of Grand Mariner Liquer
1/4 cup of flour
Mix the dry ingredients(brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and flour) in a bowl and wisk them together. In another bowl mix the wet ingredients together (vanilla extract, liquer, and egg). Then fold in apples with a spatula or a large spoon. Coat apples evenly.
