Easy to eat on the road very portable, reminds you of grandma's apple pie. Great for going on long trips or for serving as party snacks. They are perfect for people who love lots of pie crust. I hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as my family and i have.

Step 1: Making baking tin

I couldn't find a baking tin that was in the shape that i needed sp i went to Ralphs and bought two disposable mini muffin tins and muffin wraps whatever you call them. The first thing you do is push down the bridge between two of the muffin cups. Then smooth out the wrinkles in the bottom of the depression with whatever you have around, i used the handle of a steak knife i had lying around. Nest line them with the paper muffin wraps.

I tried making this but i messed up on the dough, it became to runny and unusable. i figured out it was unusable after my mom came down stairs and yelled at me for 5 miuntes. i ended up mixing the runny dough and cinamin apples together and baked them in cupkake molds. they turned out alright but i also baked up some extra apples and put them on top. if any one else messes up as bad as i did i sugest adding some sugar to the mix to make the dough sweeter. Thanks for the recipe!

AnarchistAsian in reply to achannell1Aug 5, 2008. 5:35 PM
starbucks sometimes has them, my mom's work (she works at BMC0, H.E.B. (if you live in the u.s.), and you can probably get them at a local bakery (obviously) and one more thing... the ones i get look way nicer, and they're moist, and have some "design" to them. (i'm not saying anything bad about yours, i'm just want to say how great they are if you can find them)

Can I use a different kind of apples? and store bought crust? I'm lazy.
Ravlet in reply to truovrldNov 4, 2008. 7:32 PM
It may not taste as good with store bought crust but you definitely can.

you dont have to use the liquor but it enhances the flavor of the apple you wont taste it once the alcohol bakes out.
FunkNattidelic says: Aug 5, 2008. 12:23 PM
