- a total of 3.5 cups of all purpose flour (you use 2 for the sponge, and the other 1.5 to make the dough itself)
- .5 ounces of active dry yeast (2 standard packets here in the good ol'e US of A)

- corn meal (if you don't have a fancy baguette pan)
