Introduction: Delicious Fruit Smoothie!
How to make smoothies as good as the ones at Smoothie King.
Step 1: The Supplies
In order to make the smoothie, you need some basic supplies.
-One bag of frozen mixed fruit: Peaches, Strawberries, Grapes, Pineapple, Mango, Cherries... anything that you would like in your smoothie. I used them all.
-Vanilla protein powder. It tastes the best, and adds a great flavor.
-Fruit juice: Mango, strawberry, papaya... it all tastes good.
To make Pina Colada, you need Pineapple Coconut Juice and frozen Pinapples.
Step 2: Putting the Fruit In
Make sure not to fill the blender with fruit, but 3/4 of the way, as not to break your blender.
Put in mostly mixed fruit, and maybe some exotic fruit to give it flavor.
-Banana Mango (Banango)
-Pinapple Cocunut (Pina Colada)
Step 3: Putting the Juice and Protien Powder In
Fill the blender with juices mainly of the type of fruit you are putting in. ( I made mixed fruit, and used 3 juices.) Fill up with juices to around the surface of the frozen fruit, then (if you want to), add protein powder. I use about 1 cup, depending on how much smoothie there is.
Step 4: Blend It!
Blend your smoothie! You will know when it is done when all solid articles are blended and it all looks even. Make sure the protein powder is evenly distributed. If the smoothie comes out too solid, put in water and re-blend for about 10 seconds. If it is too liquidly, put in more frozen fruit and blend for about 15 seconds.
Step 5: Serving
If you find that if you enjoy the smoothie, other people probably will too. You will have people begging for it it is so good. Pack it in a thermos and freeze for lunch the next day, or serve it at a party. Also try new combinations of fruit. Tell me any good new ones, I'd like to know.
