This cake is very tasty, because of the apple, I think you will like it.
Step 1: The Ingredients
- - 250g butter
- - 1 large apple
- - 120g sugar
- - 120g dark brown sugar
- - 3 eggs
- - 330 g cake flour
- - 2 tablespoons slivered almonds
- - 1tsp vanilla sugar
- - 3 tsp mixed spice
- - Cake Mold approx 28 to 30 cm
- - Mixer
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees
Use 10 grams of butter to grease the pan
Mix with a mixer the other 240 g butter with the normal sugar, brown sugar and vanilla sugar until it is creamy.
Keep mixing and add one at a time the eggs until they are included in the batter.
Step 4: Mix the Cake Flour and the Mixed Spice
Mix cake flour with cake and gingerbread spices. Strain this with creamy mash and mix for a minute together.
Peel the apple and cut it into pieces.
Spread half of the batter into the greased cake pan and spread on top of that the apple pieces.
Spoon the remaining batter on top and sprinkle with the almonds.
- Put the cake in the oven for about 55 min.
- Always check with a toothpick if it is cooked inside.
