Picture of Delish cream of mushroom soup
This a wonderful, rich cream soup without being overly thick and taste soooo much better than the store bought stuff I grew up with.  It takes abour 30 minutes to prepare so it is quick and easy


1/4 cup butter
1 pound of mushrooms, fresh or canned, sliced
1/4 cup flour
2 1/2 cups broth
1 beef boullion cube
1 cup heavy cream(1/2 & 1/2 would work)

Step 2: Directions

Melt butter, add mushrooms.  Sprinkle flour over mushrooms.

Pour broth a little at a time, stirring constantly.  Add boullion cube.  Bring to a boil.

Step 4:

Remove from heat and stir in cream.

Step 5: Enjoy

Again, kick hubby's shop out of kitchen and eat.
