Dell mouse mod

Make it lighter and quieter
materials needed:
1 dell mouse
1 screwdriver
you
thats it

This is my first instructible so please go easy on me and yes these pictures are bad but that is because i used my razor.

Step 1 Open it up

This is simple just remove the screw that is on the bottom and lift the back up CAREFULLY and pull the top back GENTLY!!!

When i try to open it, it gets stuck by the wired near the clicky things lol.

I like to replace the scroll wheel switch with a firmer one. Nice Instuctable

i am an anti dell person, so i use a northgate i got in 2001. and the mouse i use in an old compaq mouse. it is really nice because yo can't accidentally click the scroll wheel. you really have to mean to click it in order for it to click, i am actuallly thinking of switching to mackintosh, because i am an animator and i am really unsatisfied with windows vista's performance.

LOL WHOA the scroll wheel feels weird but awesome, i like how it feels, thanks dude, it took me a while to take off the barbs so i could remove the buttons it was worth it though.
