Step 4: "Wasabi"

To make the wasabi you will need almond paste and green food coloring. Almond paste is similar to marzipan (and is in the same part of your cooking isle), but has a higher almond content and a better texture for making "wasabi".

All you have to do is add a drop of green coloring to about a tablespoon of almond paste and mix until the color is even!

Not that hard to make cause it has the full intructions.

This is great! I'm going to do this, only I'm going to substitute the rice for Rice Crispies treats. ^_^
That was my thought too when I saw that it was rice. Exceptional would be Rice Crispies because it would be sweet and not a dry texture like "Rice" would have. Great -able though. :)
haha Great minds think alike. :-p
Elegant, beautiful and creative!! Great job!! Can't wait to try them.
Thanks for posting this. What a great idea.

What about using a chilled cookie sheet as a work surface? Do you think it would make working with the chocolate easier?
That would work well, actually. Great idea!
Love it. But personally, I don't like eating rice and fruit together ><
The rice is sweetened. Think of it more like rice pudding with a better texture. It's not like dinner rice with sweet stuff on top. :)
Very nice. I've seen various dessert sushis and this is the first that I've seen do a nice job of actually using sushi rice; the coconut milk is inspired. I imagine they taste great!
What a great idea. We are definately going to do this the next time we entertain.
I'd be tempted to make and use rice krispy treats in place of the rice. Yum! Thanks for sharing.
What can I say besides AWESOME!
Totally, Totally, Totally Awesome! The kids and I have something new to try! There's a whole food genre about making "dinner" look like "dessert" and vice versa. For instance - making ice cream look like meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I do remember making Sushi using fruit-leather and gummi-fruit and marshmallow-bunnies or something.... Thanks for this one - I'll add it to my list of cool things to do.
they look beautiful :)
Yummies. I think I like these better then the fruit rollup ones.
I just might make this if I can find all the items needed. It would be a great way for my father to have sushi since he has a fish allergy.
awesome Idea!
Definitely some of the most wonderful dessert sushi I've ever seen!
Beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing.
