Drill holes in dice

Step 1: Glue Magnets

I used hot glue but you can use any glue

Step 2: Make Center

Put strong magnets in center with ball Barings

Step 3: Now You Are Done

It should look like this

How does it feel for use? I am kind of a rubix "enthusiast" and I enjoy a speed cube the nice spin and the ability to "flick" (spin a side with one finger) and I worry that the pieces being held together by magnets wouldn't hold it together well enough for this and other speed tricks.

It cost around 18$

I don't understand how this can rotate like a Rubik's cube.

what was the estimated cost? It's beyond clever, is it beyond worth paying for?

I love this idea. Could you tell me how you drilled the dice, and other details step to step? Looks great!
very clever and ingenious central hub using a single ball.
thanks I just joined
