Introduction: Discworld by Sir Terry Pratchett (Intellectual Property)

About: I am artist. Ceramics, Paintings.. drawings.. I live in Finland, around polar circle and do my art where and when ever I can. Clay is my favourite material, but sadly it also takes most of room and demands...

Discworld is a fantasy world created by Sir Terry Pratchett. Name Discworld comes from that the world is a disc carried by four elephants: Berilia, Tubul, Great T'Phon and Jerakeen. And all of this is carried by big turtle, Great A'Tuin who swims thorugh the galaxy. Discworld is full of magic. Although it reminds of our Earth it has its own laws of physics. Discworld is a home of humans (some of the wizards and witches), werewolfs, trolls, dwarfs, zombies, boogies, and much more. The most famous city of Discworld is Ankh-Morpork. The world has it's own history, culture, politics, religions and races. It even has it's own geopolitical map.

I've been a huge Discworld and Sir Terry Pratchett fan for decates.

The stories about Discworld have influenced on my personality, precence and my artistic persona more than anything else if you don't count Mother Nature and my family in it. Sir Terry Pratchett has been an inspiration in my art and in my life.

This is my tribute to one of the most greatest authors in the world, Sir Terry Pratchett.

You will be missed.
