Distress Your Jeans

This instructable will teach you how to get distressing on your own jeans. You won't need to go out and buy ripped jeans anymore!

Here's what you'll need:
a pair of jeans
razor blade
sand paper with lower grits (very rough)
a block of wood

Step 1 Wood

First place the block of wood into the jeans as support for your distressing with the razor blade.

Even the jeans in this instructable are like dress jeans. Try wearing work jeans and go and do some yard work or something.

I think its really dumb how these kind of jeans are more expensive, you pay for less fabric?

Regardless of the tastes of others, as noted by rimar2000, this is a simple, convenient, and certainly cheaper way to get the basic look of –usually rather pricey– pre-ripped jeans. Nice!

I respect the opinions and tastes of others, but let me say: to make this treatment  to clothes, I always thought it is stupid.
