First let me say something about this Projector project!

Yes I have had this Projector Instructable twice here now. And It`s been about two years since the first one was here with only one halogen light. Later on that year decided to put down this instructable. But at home I still tinkered around with the same projector bought a couple new things for it went though some more lights bought some more lenses and the projector was getting better and
better. So Then I had a projector with two halogen lights. With a inexpensive Wicko Camera zoom lens that I bought from E-bay. I was quite
happy with the results so I decided to put it on instructables again. But so even again I started tinkering with my projector and thought what about one light with that zoom lens? I tried it, Wow to my surprise and 50 watt halogen on a Wicko zoom lens is pretty good! (Thats the projector you see above) I think I could almost say that one halogen works just fine and is just as good as two halogen!
So for all you Do it your selfers out there Never Stop Tinkering - You never know what you might find out!

Anyway back to the projector. If you want to build this projector with one halogen just follow what I did minus the one extra halogen and put a magnifying glass lens between the light and the lens in front. see picture above.

Here are the parts needed to build this projector.

2 50 watt halogen lights, they are called mr16.

2.5 inch tft lcd screen (bought from E-bay) A car reverse monitor from Hong Kong

A book shelf speaker box (You can imagine how big that is)

Some card board

An assortment of screws

Some bendable wire (Maybe a coat hanger, I used antenna wire)

2 Elastics

Tape

2 mr16 ceramic plugs (bought from E-bay for around 2 dollars)

Large size 12v computer fan

12 volt 250 ma ac adapter

12 volt  100 watt transformer to power the two mr16 lights

Large size lens (I got mine from a magnifying glass about 2 inches diameter, placed inside the box)

A 100 - 150 mm wicko zoom lens for a camera (works great)

Hi. I was impressed by your DIY LCD projector. I've been working on a similar project and your instructable was very helpful. One thing I didn't see and really need your help on is how to wire the LCD? Do you have any instructables showing that? Appreciate any help or links you (or anyone reading) this could give me. Thanks. cyberdenizen
