Diy Notebook Cooling Device in 5 Minutes (or Less)

Hello people, this is my first instructable, I hope you forget me for my english :) I'm from Santa Fe, Argentina, and here the wheater is really heavy in summer, so I was a little bit worried about my notebook healt because of the temp.
Actually, it wasn't really that bad, the processor used to live around 55°C, but I would be happier to maintaint it about 10° less. So I searched at my "studio" (you can call it a lab) and found some cheap things that I used for this little cooling device.

Here are the elements:

Step 1: Pop-in the Cooler in the Case

Maybe I was a little lucky in this step, the cooler "poped" in just like it was made for it, here is how it looks like at this point in the pics above.

The cooler's size is just standard and the black case is sold in Wal Mart Argentina, but considering this things comes from China, you may find the very same case in Wal Marts all over the world.

Step 2: Adding a Power Source

Not much to say here, just that again, everything fits perfectly :) If you decide to use a power supply like me, consider that in HP's connectors, the RIGHT pin is the less voltage one (ground is shared). If you choose the left one, you'll send +32v and everything will smell like burned hair, literally.
Fortunately, HP power supplyes are very safe and in case of shortcut or something wrong they automatically shut down until you unplug it.

Step 3: So This Would Be the Final Result

And that's it! From the moment I decided to do this and started looking for materials, to the moment I finished and tried it, it was about 10 minutes.

I know is not a great invention, but works and does what is supposed to :) hope you like it and again I'm sorry about my english!!
