Hey this is a cool idea. I make about 90% of my dogs "clotthes", and simple patterns are the best! This is close to the pattern I had devised to make coats for my dogs, and my mom's dogs.  I am thinking it could make a great summer dress.  Keep on with the instructables, but like some of the other comments said, a few more photos would be really nice.......

Love your posting.  A couple more photos would be helpful, tho.  If people don;t like animal stuff, then they should hang out in their own areas.  Oh, wait.  They don''t have any areas of their own.

Doggie coats can be made by buying small polar fleece 1/4 zip up pullovers in second hand stores.  The zipper goes over the doggies head, the back of the coat is formed by the front of the pullover, then the sleeves can be attached to the coat to form a belt with velcro that attaches together under the dog's tummy.

I've found that a childs' size 2 fits my silkie terrier pretty well.

I don't understand why people would bash on your instructable. If they don't want to read about dog stuff then why do they bother clicking the link? I have a chihuahua and since it get's so cold where I live, I have to have him where some kind of clothing when I take him outside. This is really helpful because most dog clothes are extremely expensive and patterns for dog clothes are kind of hard to find. Anyways, you could try buttons or velcro intstead of ribbons if you wanted something that the dog could wear to run around in without getting caught on anything.

This is my first visit to instructables. Is this forum always mean? If you don't want to read about dog stuff, why do you, the heading was dog outfit? What is the point of the meanness? Anyway, thanks daschund_lover..........

Keep on rocking the doggy gear, but please use some more pictures. You can use the same photo for multiple steps and the one that's attached to the intro page is what shows up in the listings. Instead of all the hands, attach the finished photo to the intro. Makes it look better. Also, bigger photos and some photos of steps of the process, please. You can go and edit them after they're published, too.
