Domo Mouse

This instructable will show you how to modify a normal computer mouse into a Domo-Mouse! It is easy to do, as long as you are careful and don't rip up Domo. The eyes are the left and right buttons, and there is a tongue LED to show if it is on.

There is a short video of it in action on the last step.

Step 1 What you Need

Here's what you need to make Domo-Mouse:

• 1 Plush Domo, from ThinkGeek http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/ace3/
• 1 Optical mouse
• 6 small pieces of wire
• 2 tactile buttons. I used these http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G16901, but any should work
• 1 square LED for the tongue, optional
• 1 150 ohm resistor (Brown-Green-Brown stripes)
• a small piece of foam board
• brown thread

Tools:

• screwdrivers
• hot glue gun
• soldering iron
• X-acto knife
• needle (to sew it up)

I like this, I'm not into domo's really, I guess they are from a manga, correct me if I'm wrong. I would like to find out why everyone loves them so much. Anyway I have a strange liking of the domo, even though I don't know what it is. Anyway good job, this is cool. I would maybe do this with something else like maybe mario or something cool.
