This is my first instructable, and this is by far one of my favorite sites i've been too. Anyways to downloading YouTube videos there are a couple steps you need to do.

Step 1: Finding and Downloading the video to your hard drive.

First you find the YouTube video you want to download and copy its link.

Then you go to: http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php

(you can also use http://video.qooqle.jp/dl/ if the first link is down)

You paste your youtube link in the top bar and press download.
<p>Here is another suggestion for downloading youtube videos if you don't like the method provided above. This is much more clean and powerful downloading apps that works seamless with youtube:</p><p><a href="http://www.imoresoft.com/youtube-downloader.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.imoresoft.com/youtube-downloader.html</a></p>
HELP!!! maybe you or others could help me, I cant do it!!!! I use this url with website including zamzar ect. this url :http://video.aol.com/video/tv-thundercats-mongor/1873290<br/>and can't download it please help me out!! (don't leave a comment saying to search &quot;thundercats&quot; at youtube and download them there because I'v watch / burned all 10 of the first episodes off of you tube and there are no more full episodes!!!!) thanks<br/>
with ubuntu, theres a download utility called clive that downloads the youtube video in .flv format in the terminal. it works awesome and you dont have to go to any websites like vixy.net to do this. all you have to do is search for it in the synaptic package manager and install it. in the terminal you type clive and copy the youtube url from the browser address and paste it in the terminal. the terminal entry looks like this for example:<br/><br/>clive <a rel="nofollow" href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=92XCqQNUMmM">http://youtube.com/watch?v=92XCqQNUMmM</a><br/><br/>then you press enter and the video starts downloading to the home folder. this also works with googlevideo.<br/><br/>the flv format file can be converted to another format with WinFF.<br/>
because that will give you a FLV file. you cant put FLV files on iPods
its Divx.com sorry about that guys.
Wouldn't it be easier to user www.zamzar.com?
yeah but if you got a file larger than 100 mbs. you wanna convert? like a movie you download or if you want it in formats that site dont have.
