I got to check out layers in schematic mode. I use layers a lot in the board layout part, not so much in the schematic part. I have a heck of a time getting the wires to actually connect in schematic mode. Lots of times I have to move the part and ram it into my wires in order to get a connection, then Eagle gives me a dot and I have to move the part again, and delete the extra wire stub.
