If you hook it up to a bike wheel or something like that don't forget to add a resistor.

It'd be fun to put it in a lighter case, then it would "spark" when you flicked the lighter.

 if u want to get direct current from the motor, add a capacitator

The motor already provides DC.

The flicker is because the motor's speed varies.

Or do you mean "smoother current"?
