Radio-Throttle FailSafe using Arducopter APM 2.6 flight controller: What do we want to happen?
When the APM flight controller no longer receives a signal (no pulses) from the RC transmitter (via the onboard RC receiver) then a predetermined action occurs, for example: Return to Launch (RTL), Land, Continue with Mission in Auto Mode, or Do Nothing. However, the FS PWM value must satisfy several criteria as described in this video.
Tested with an APM 2.6 running V3.2.1, a Turnigy 9X transmitter bound to a 9X8Cv2 receiver and a Taranis X9D Plus transmitter bound to a X8R receiver For other transmitters please check your manual.
