So, there I was...
It was the day before the Christmas gift exchange and I completely forgot all about it. Good thing I knew exactly what kinda guy I had. So I went to the local Target and got him his favorite Playing cards, MAGIC. Upon my arrival home, i realized i didn't have any gift wrap, using it all the previous week. I had to think quick and the only thing i could find was my infinite amount of duct tape shoved in my closet.
The final product actually surprised me and I figured that this would be a great idea for those people just like me. So here you go...

Duct Tape Gift Wrapping

P.S. It's also a great way to Waterproof something, so don't worry about your gift getting water damage.

another P.S. If you think wrapping the gift is fun, just watch your friends make a fool of themselves trying to unwrap it. It's Killer!

Step 1: What You Will Need

Duct Tape gift wrapping isn't that hard, actually fairly easy. Wrapping these cards only took me 20-25 minutes including me taking the photos. But What you will need is simple.

Supplies:
Gift you wish to wrap
A pair of scissors(Optional, but these are very useful when getting rid of pesky bits of tape that stick out)
A plastic shopping bag(Also optional, it just depends on how big your gift is)
And all the colored duct tape you wish to have(I used Red and Black)

Step 2: The Shopping Bag Part

Really simple, no lie guys(or girls?)
Lay the Plastic bag flat on a table and fold the "Handles" inward.
Put the gift in the center and fold all the ends on top of the gift.
When you finish that, you should have the part naturally in between the "handles" sticking outward.
I took that part sticking out and folded it on top of all the rest of the folds and taped it down.
Doing this will keep the bag from coming off, just make sure that it is nice and tight.

Step 3: Bring in the Tape

From here,
I just covered the thing in (Black) duct tape and now had a black box.
Now, if your lame, you could stay with the one color.
I decided to be creative, however, and somehow came out with a nice looking design.
I took the (red) tape and put it diagonal down the sides.
I then used left over black tape (in a smaller strip) and put that down the center of the red.
To finish off whatever your design may be, take the initial color and put it all along the sides.
Hey! and guess what?!
Your done with the wrapping!

See, it wasn't that hard!

Step 4: Giving Your Work Away

'tis a sad day, but your work will not go without someone drooling over it.
Considering I'm the only one that my friends know that use duct tape that often, i didn't have to put a "FROM:" tag on it.
but that is just me.
Get creative with what you design.
you may even want to make a tag out of duct tape to go on it.

Get out there and show the world your growing talents.
