I think this was really creative to use the flipflops to trace this shoes

flipflops are easier to use for such a thing. when my dad is not home, im going to raid is ever-lasting supply of duct tape and make my own (evil laugh!!) anyway, besides, they are smoother on the edges.

I think it worked better when I used a marker to trace your shoes. When I used a pen it just poked hole into the cardboard.

If that happens, you're just pressing too hard. Either that or that cardboard is really thin.
