Duct tape body

Step 2The upper body

the upper body
have the model put the baggy old shirt on again, and begin. this time, you will need several LONG strips of tape. they will form 'suspenders' over the shoulders of the model. 3 or 4 on each side, going from the front waist to the back in 1 long continuous strip. this gives the body great strength.

once the suspenders are formed, begin with the 10 inch strips in the same method as the day before, overlapping them horizontally. go all the way to the neck, and down the arms, leaving the armpits open (this will help you get the sleeves off without having to slit them too much)

when it's covered horizontally, begin with the vertical strips. overlapping them well. cover it entirely.

now you'll have to cut the shirt off. i cut straight down from the neck to the bottom of the shirt with the sharp scissors. small slits at the wrists allow the hands to be freed easily. tape up 3/4 of the back using 2 layers of tape. tape up the armpits the same way.

place it over the waist you finished already. use 2 layers of tape, i diagonally, 1 vertical to attach it firmly to the waist. then use 20 ounce coke bottles to stuff the forearms, and bicep areas, using poly fill as needed to make it firm. the body may be stuffed with whatever material you have plenty of. i used plastic grocery sacks again. tape the rest of the body up. you may leave it headless, or stuff a mask and attach it to the neck. the gloves may now be taped onto the arms, and you can put his clothes and shoes on.

there you have it! a cheap, lightweight body for your haunt!
