Did you watch the Mythbusters episode, "Duct tape Survival Island?" I did! It was awesome! I was so inspired I decided to try to make some of the things they made. I made two nets, one spider-web style and one rectangle, a hat, a waterproof bag and a belt. The buckle and link for the belt were just from an old dog lead, simple as that! The waterproof bag took several tries and about 12 layers of duct tape! The main techniques I used were twisting the tape to make a rope and folding over the tape to make a long, thing rectangle of non-sticky-ness. To make the web I placed five chairs in a pentagon and connected a chair leg to the next one and so on. Then I added a strip from each corner to the middle and another one from between each one. I then wove and attached tape to make an inner ring.
Altogether it took 1 & 2/3 rolls of duct tape.
Hope you enjoy!

PS My camera is so bad and it was early this morning so there wasn't much light..
