Duct tape roses

Have you ever wanted to gift your mother or father for their birthday,If so this is the best instructables for you.
Materials required
Duct tape (any color)
Green duct tape for stem
scissors
and straws

Step 1 Making the rose's first petal and making rose buds

Tape a piece of duct tape(3 cms) and fold it into a shape similar to this leaving some sticky part on the bottom.

Then roll it onto a straw.

If you want a rose bud then leave it at this stage and you have a rose bud,but if you want to make a rose then follow the steps.

When you make the roses do you make sure that the pedals all start at the same spot on the straw? Because I have tried that and it created almost a hole at the bottom of all the pedals...and i have no idea how to make it "blossom" like yours is.

No, slowly as you finish adding petals all around on the straw, then you need to move up a little and attach petals all around and then go up a little more and so on!

Quite possibly I might make this out of fruit roll ups. Unsure yet though.
